Cheryl can truly vocally deliver any popular song as you hear it performed by the original artist. Whether it’s Rock, R&B, Pop, Jazz, or Swing, Cheryl will keep your guests entertained with her incredible range. She has been singing since the age of 7 and started working with her first band at age 17. Her energy, experience, talent, wit, and charm, will guarantee to keep your audience on the dance floor!
Cheryl has performed in large and small venues entertaining huge corporate parties, political inaugurations, fundraisers, weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, restaurants, and night clubs everywhere from Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston, Connecticut, Vermont, and places in between.
The Disney Channel in Los Angeles hired Cheryl to sing on several aired episodes of the hit television series “Even Stevens” starring Shia La Beouf. Cheryl was also honored when she was chosen, by the Atlanta Braves organization, to sing America’s National Anthem.
Cheryl studied vocals with the legendary Dante Pavone (whose students included Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, and Phil Bailey of Earth, Wind and Fire). She studied musical theatre at The Boston Conservatory, and is currently studying the vocal methods of the nationally known vocal coach, Mark Baxter.
Guitar & Vocals
Rich has been playing guitar and singing in venues in and around Boston for over forty years. From the earlier bands such as The Christopher Michael Band and Spirit, playing disco and funk, to bands like Full House, which covered Country Music and eventually evolved into Classic Rock music. Rich has a passion for music, whatever the style. His motivation continues to stem from the response he receives from his listeners.
Drums & Percussion
Peter is a veteran of the Boston music scene and has played in many bands covering all types of music. Performing everything from show tunes with local theatre groups to funk, R&B and disco with local favorites, Breakaway to jazz with Rebecca Paris.
Bass Guitar & Vocals
Paul has been playing venues since he was 19. He founded in the legendary North Shore band “Horizon”. Paul has a degree in music from the prestigious University of Massachusetts and has studied under the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s foremost bassist, Frank Gallagher. His mission in the band is to lay down the groove and support the featured players. His favorite quote sums up his philosophy – “I’m just a singer in a rock & roll band, meeting so many people who are trying to be free.”
Keyboards & Vocals
Richard joined Keep It Real right after graduating from Keene State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. During his time performing with Keep It Real, the band has played all over New England and traveling as far as Montreal. His keyboards are at the heart of the band’s sound.
Richard works by day as the Director of Technology for a school district in New Hampshire
